🐸 Be kind — we're all in the same pond

Disagree with ideas, never attack people. No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind. Assume good intentions, and remember that members come from many countries and speak many first languages.

🚫 No spam — nobody likes a pond full of junk

No advertising, repeated posts, chain messages, or unsolicited sales pitches in channels or direct messages. Sharing your own conservation project, event, or art is welcome — just post it in the channel where it fits.

🪪 Be yourself

Don’t pretend to be someone else, another organization, or a SAVE THE FROGS! staff member. Share only photos, art and writing that are yours, or that you have permission to share, and give credit where it’s due.

🔒 Respect privacy

Don’t post anyone else’s personal details — home address, phone number, email — and don’t share someone’s direct messages without their permission.

🌿 Keep the frogs safe, too

Please don’t post exact locations of rare or threatened species — poachers read the internet too. Share the region, not the GPS pin. And please don’t encourage collecting wild amphibians: they belong in the wild.

⚑ See something? Say something

Every post, direct message and profile has a ⚑ Report button. Use it for anything that breaks these guidelines. Reports are private — the person you report is not told who reported them — and a moderator reviews every one.

🛡️ What we may do

To keep FrogSpace safe and welcoming, SAVE THE FROGS! may, at its discretion and without advance notice:

• remove or hide any post, message, photo or profile content;
• send a warning;
• stop an account from posting, temporarily or permanently;
• suspend or delete an account.

Most of the time a friendly nudge is all it takes. We save the rest for people who clearly aren’t here in good faith.
